We all know that the recent events in Greece will continue to wreak havoc on its economy for decades to come. We also know that hard economic times lead to an exodus of a country's youngest and brightest. In Greece's case, a brain drain of unprecedented proportions is expected. Before you know it, most of the young Greek creatives will be migrating to the UK and calling Shoreditch home.
Thankfully, there are still great designers that live and work in Greece and do impeccable work.
Whether it's haute couture, architecture, furniture design, graphic design or package design, Greece is up there with the best, serving world class design daily.

When you mention Greece, visions of blue Aegean waters and white Santorini buildings come to mind. There is never an inkling of a mention of the creative spirit that is still alive and well in Athens and Thessaloniki.

Today, I wanted to highlight some of my favorite packaging of Greek products created by a talented consortium of Greeks. Through their work, they elevate Greece and sell it to the world. All beautifully done without using one single image of Mykonos or the Acropolis.
